We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work alongside the Clinic’s Medical Director providing outpatient care to adults and geriatric patients.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Meets one on one with all patients to assist with physical, emotional, and spiritual factors
- Maintains leadership in interdisciplinary health care
- Works to improve systems of care, patient outcomes, quality, and safety, stressing patient involvement and ownership
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating all aspects of health and wellness
- Ordering, reviewing, and interpreting laboratory and radiology reports
- Collaborating treatment plans with a physician
- Communicating, enhancing, and building rapport with patients and families
Skills / Qualifications:
- Confident, well-organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate well with patients, families, physicians, and staff within the organization and community
- Empathetic with patient needs and concerns
- Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and critical decision-making skills required
- Requires current unrestricted Florida license as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) and/or Florida Physician Assistant (PA)
- Prefer a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience but will consider other candidates
